The World’s Best Party Destinations

Posted by Andrew Coleman on

Who doesn’t love a party? Even the most introverted of us need to let our hair down once in a while. There are many awesome party places all over the world, but we have whittled it down to the best of the best. Here they are and why they are the best.

Ibiza, Spain

Since the late 90’s, Ibiza has been plugged into popular party culture, with mega-clubs like Pacha and Amnesia that charge a hefty door fee to experience what all the other beautiful people do. For those that are on a budget, there is no shortage of cheap and free clubs to dance the night away. And when your dancing feet are sore, sooth them by wiggling your toes on the great beaches in your Tucann swim shorts. Ibiza is on an island after all, and the laid-back vibe is prominent.

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

There is a reason they call it Sin City. As you walk down the street, it is common to encounter people readily handing out tiny fliers of strip clubs and other such tantalizing establishments. But that is not why people come here. Over the last two decades, Las Vegas has truly become a world-class destination with internationally recognized musical acts and Broadway-like shows. Gleaming upscale resorts, each with their own casino and party atmosphere, and some of the best dining in the world can be found here.

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

The party city of South America, Rio sees more than 1 million visitors every year to attend Carnival alone (a festival that has its tradition dating back to 1723.) In Rio, party is truly an art form, with clubs and bars pumping out traditional samba on the Copacabana strip all year round. This is also an LGBTQ-friendly city, with many gay clubs, bars and other venues. Some of the nightlife is so relaxed, you can go straight from the beach to the club in your board shorts.

Berlin, Germany

This incredible, European city has a definite underground culture. On the plus side, it is cheap, fun, cultural and cool. And there seem to be more clubs than people. No matter what walk of life you hail from, you will find your tribe in Berlin. Interestingly enough, the coolest clubs are often the most tricky to get into, but abide by the house rules and you’ll be fine. Just look the part, don’t arrive drunk, and speaking a little German will go a long way to making friends in the club line. The techno clubs are some of the best in the world.

New York City, NY, USA

As the closest city to all of Europe, it is an easy plane ride away from London and Paris, which is why so many Europeans come here to party ‘til they drop. New York clubs take precedence over the rest of the world with respect to the variety of nightlife. And the history speaks for itself: with the dawning of Studio 54 in the 1970’s, through the punk rock phenomenon of CBGB’s to today, New York City is teeming with the latest and greatest, with the party reputations spilling into Brooklyn and the Bronx.
